Building Google Adwords campaign is a dynamic process that involves fine tuning and polishing to get an optimal result, however, most people would rather turn to experimenting until they find out it’s too late, and their resources have already been drained.

Google Adwords pioneers such as Perry Marshall, the author of The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords discusses this aspect of Google Adwords campaign management in great detail. Specific techniques were shared by Marshall in relation to significantly building results for your campaign and recommended some essential tips to better refine it.

Learn and familiarize all the strategies used by Adwords experts and affiliate marketers and you’ll get your money’s worth; in fact, you can minimize your ad campaign’s cost and get ahead of your competitors just by being meticulous on your choice of keywords. Below are practical and easy-to-follow tips for getting results with Google Adwords and one that allows you to manage costs in the simplest possible way

First: As much as possible, avoid aiming for top spot placement. Unknown to many, the first spot on the Google Sponsored Search results doesn’t always provide the best conversions but the second and third spots. Choosing the 2nd or 3rd spot not only provides necessary exposure of your ad campaign to your market, it also is cost-savvy to do so. For example, it’s more likely that a visitor looking for information goes through the entire list in the search and as thus gives the same focus to all the ads.

Two, remove from your list all negative keywords. It’s common to find that you get hundreds of clicks from a particular keyword or keyphrase, but with very low conversion rates. This is usually the case when you have a ‘negative’ keyword in your ad, which means that people searching for that keyword and finding you are expecting something different.

Lastly, never bid on broad match keywords.  When you want to get some very targeted traffic to your website, don’t waste your money or time bidding on broad or general keywords. Before you start, consult those keywords under the ‘advertiser competition’ results; then observe if the bar gets colored more than halfway because this may be a sign that your chances of bidding the word at a lower price are slim. As you scroll the list down — keep in mind that keywords and keyphrases with low indicator may not be highly competitive but may be availed at a lower bidding price. You can use the ‘exact match’ feature on the Google Adwords Keyword Selector Tool to drill down your search.

Your Google Adwords ad campaign’s conversion rates can be enhanced in varied ways, at the same, ensuring you are dealing with your target market efficiently. Maximize your campaign with any of these strategies and start bidding on winning combination of keywords without spending too much.

Ideas for Monetizing Your Blog

by Tricia on October 15, 2009

It seems as though everyone is getting into the blog writing game. Blogs are fun to write. Some people simply like to write about their hobby. Some blog to gain attention for their business. At some point you will most likely want to monetize your blog. Once you learn how to start a blog, start writing good content, and gain visitors, you will be able to make some money.

You can make money blogging in numerous ways. You can sell advertisements. Affiliate programs can be joined which allow you to collect commissions on products that you market and your visitors buy. You can sell your own products. Just about any method you can think of is available to you for making money blogging.

Bloggers can make money from their blog content with the following suggestions. Not all are worthwhile for every blog. If you are writing a political blog with conservative views then posting Google Adsense advertisements may not work as well as getting a commission from selling political books.

Google Adsense has become the de facto standard for bloggers trying to make money on the web. This program allows you to place Google Adwords on your blog, otherwise known as Adsense, and if visitors click on an ad then Google will share in the revenue.

So how does Adsense work? For instance, if you created a blog about golf and wrote a post about ladies golf clubs. The ad unit would hopefully display ads about ladies golf clubs or at the least golf clubs. Google allows you to share in the revenue when your visitor clicks on one of the ads in their program, or network. Once your Adsense earnings were over a hundred dollars, Google would then cut you a check for that amount.

Other ways of making money with your blog include affiliate programs where you promote products and services in exchange for a commission. There are numerous programs such as Shareasale, Commission Junction and in-house programs like Amazon.com that you can apply to. Many big name companies with large advertising budgets might buy ad space on your blog if you get a large number of visitors. An online store could be set up, linked from your blog, to sell goods you create or dropship.

The methods for making money from blogging are very easy to do. The difficulty is actually marketing your blog so visitors will buy the products you are offering.

Hot Niches; The 24hr Hot Product Formula

by Tricia on October 15, 2009

The biggest hurdle encountered by a large number of new internet marketers is the simple question ‘What Niche?’, because everyone wants to find a profitable one, one that has buyers and if they are into Affiliate Marketing, has good converting products.

The thing is, a large amount of online marketing involves promoting someone else’s product and the affiliate gets a cut, but what if you had your own product, then had affiliates marketing for you. That’s when ones income takes a quantum leap, Agreed!

Nice idea, but you are probably thinking..Well out of reach. Developing a product is a huge job, or is it? Thinking about it, we have all seen ‘the gurus’ rattle out products left right and center, it’s like they have a robot, feed the niche in one end and out comes the next great eBook or what ever the other end. So there must be something we are missing?

Well a well know identity; Chris Rempel, aka The Lazy Marketer, has just provided a big bunch of the answers, in a way that most people can easily get their head around: The 24hr Hot Product Formula. It’s based around over 2 hrs of Videos, where he takes the viewer on the complete journey of production creation from scratch.

The series has 5 blocks of videos, starting with ‘Niche Research – Hot Markets’ then investigating what sells, what’s a dud and why, ‘Products you can Create Fast’, ‘Ad Copy that Sells’ then finally wrapping up with ‘Rolling out your Product’.

The first videos are real time as he probes for profitable niches from scratch, with markets he is not involved with and shows you precisely the steps he takes as he develops his niche and strategy. I enjoyed this visual explanation of the steps taken, it becomes real and I can understand the whole process mush more easily.

What Chris does is also great, even if you are not interested in creating a product, because you start to understand the psychology behind what he is doing and why. The niche choices become clear, then you see the products currently in the niche, what’s good and what’s a dud, but also why. So if you are simply promoting someone else’s product, it helps to establish what to avoid. I mean, why promote a product, who’s official sales letter sucks, it just aint going to convert no matter how hard you try.

He also includes a large number of quality sites he uses, and other important resources, many of which can have a huge benefits to the success of a product.

The 24hr Hot Product Formula is another excellent product from Chris and the information is exceptional.
